Our platform is open to Singapore Citizen, Singapore PR, LTVP (with PLOC) or Student pass (MOM approved institution) holder, age above 16 years old only. 

As a freelancer on EL Connect, you are classified as an independent contractor and therefore not covered under the Employment Act. This means you will not receive employee benefits such as annual leave, CPF contributions, or employer-provided insurance.

For more information about your status as an independent contractor, you may visit the Ministry of Manpower (MOM) website and read the section on “Contract of Service” .

Benefits such as uniforms and meals vary depending on the employer and the job type.

As a freelancer on EL Connect, you work as an independent contractor, so medical fees are not fully covered by the employer.

However, all freelancers are automatically covered by EL Connect’s Personal Accident insurance and may claim eligible medical expenses for work-related injuries, subject to approval.

Please report any injury within 24 hours and submit supporting documents within 7 days.
